When people want to ping people to say goodbye in #off-topic:introduce-yourself, there shouldn’t be a limit.
My suggestion is to remove how many people you can ping in the introduce yourself topics
I’m pretty sure they don’t have control over this function 
(I could be wrong tho)
i mean if they have control over character minimum im pretty sure they have control over ping limit
