So someone on discord was speaking Japanese (I know it too) so I joined in. I was then muted. I was confused. It was because I said “Shitte” in a sentence which means “Know” i feel that its unfair that us Japanese People can’t say know.

It’s banned because people use it as an alternative for another word but I’ll believe you and say that it means “know”

“しって” is not banned. So “shitte” should remain a blacklisted word.
They allow us to say ass, but not the other word for poop?? Idk about that, seems dumb, but they do have restrictions because of Microsoft, so maybe it has to stay black listed??

This word is blocked as it is otherwise used to bypass the filters that are in place.
If you wish to speak Japanese, I recommend using the Japanese alphabet
