Do you know when you use a custom 4d skin on hive, IT SHOWS UP AS A HIVE SKIN? ITS SO ANNOYING WHEN IT HAPPENS, HOW DOES OTHER PLAYERS USE THESE STUFF WITHOUT GETTING HIVE SKINS???
Also just make it when the skin has custom geo, it doesnt get hive skins, instead MAKE IT SO WHEN A PLAYER USE AN INVIS SKIN THEY GET AN HIVE SKIN …
When i try to use my “Made” skins, it shows up as a hive skin its so annoying why cant i use my orginial self made skin?
Make it so that u cant get a hive skin using a custom geo but invis skins get hive skins
This is a skin filter, and the ones the other players get are ones on the marketplace I belive, but just retextured. Think about it this way: If people could make 4d custom skins, and use them in pvp, they could have the biggest advantage of being 1 pixel tall. Just use a normal skin
(some marketplace skins are banned from The Hive aswell)
Lol I remember one time I saw guy in skywars who had a skin that was the size of a starting island, and it got through the skin filter somehow, and it definitely wasn’t a retexture marketplace skin unless there is some skin that is literally the giant zombie from java

The biggest I’ve seen on the marketplace was a tree on your skins back.

On March 30th 2020, Microsoft introduced new technical and policy changes to (custom) skins in Minecraft multiplayer. This affects players that use skins with custom geometry, sometimes called “4D Skins” in the community.
Marketplace Skins, Hive Costumes and regular Alex/Steve retextures are NOT affected by these changes. We continue to apply Hive-side filters to all skins - this may block some extra small or big skins that are allowed on different servers.
Players that attempt to use custom geometry will appear to be wearing one of our Marketplace skins.
These changes do not affect capes.
This is Microsoft policy and not up for debate with Hive staff.
