Randomized Spectator

My suggestion is instead of playing games, there could be an option to spectate a random match.

Obviously you wouldn’t be able to speak in chat, and you will be sent to the hub right after the game is finished.

There would also be different counters for players and spectators, for example, “SkyWars: 892 Playing, 75 Spectating”

With this feature, you could find some neat little things hidden in maps without having to die, have a friend to spectate, or start a custom server.

Let me know what you think, be honest!

Fun fact: Sprint-jumping with a jump boost powerup active actually makes you slower. Keep that in mind next time you play Block Party.

Lol i like the idea. Also the Block Party fact is good. It gives me an Idea for a suggestion now.

I like this idea, but if it showed the player count and the spectator count right below the NPC it would make the “SKYWARS” text not look as important,
you would have to make the SKYWARS text look bigger.

P.S. SKYWARS was just an example, I didn’t know what else to call that specific text.

ok

so, you would rather keep spectating into games, until you start spectating the game you want, then hope that the game is the right number of players (solos, duos, squads), THEN hope that the map you want is the one being used? no, no you dont.

this wouldnt be used at all.
i know i would use this feature once, get bored and start actually playing the game. Spectating is fun when you see good (or terrible) players fight, but watching mid players who just wouldnt be fun, especially if you couldnt pick which game you want to watch.

also, servers have a max player count so this would be very limited especially in the bridge, forcing the hive to change servers for a feature no one will use.

The reason why i had the idea is because new players might want to see how the game works first, and a lot of queues take very long so you’d rather just spectate instead.

Also, you could only spectate an available game that doesn’t already have the max players.

Im pretty sure a newer player would rather actually play the game for themselves and then learn how the game works rather than spectate other people play it first. Or watch some gameplay on YouTube to see how things work. And everyone plays in a different style so it kinda varies on different ways to play a game. Other times games are a little self explanatory (like H&S, just basically hiding if you are a hider and seeking if you are a seeker lol)

And also I think this is pretty useless to add. Most people would rather spectate their friends, start a cs, or even die on purpose if they wanted to if they wanted to check something out, or for some people they can even use replay pass.
