Idea:
When a player throws a flare to summon a supply crate, the system should check if there are blocks above. This would prevent the supply drop from getting stuck.
More information:
This would make supply crates more reliable and avoid situations where players lose them due to map structures.
It’s not me who threw it under that roof. Most of the time I have the locator thingy, when it shows the yellow dot - I follow it through the entire map to find the supply crate stuck, that’s the problem
In real life if you set off a flare to show someone else where to drop something, whoever is dropping it would likely position it so it doesn’t fall on the roof of someone’s house or on a tree
The best solution for this is to watch where you’re throwing it. I don’t really see much point to this suggestion as in my opinion the way it works now is perfect, if you’re not throwing it in the open you don’t get to loot it.
But it doesn’t mean it’s never getting stuck. If the flare is close enough to something there’s always a chance. I don’t think this is an issue.
