Prestige 1: The defender 1
(1 is a place holder for the prestige one symbol)

There is already prestige hub titles.

This suggestion is about adding prestige icons to hub titles you unlock by leveling up, not the hub titles you already get by prestiging. 
Not a bad idea but I feel like we’d need an advanved UI first because otherwise it will flood the locker.

what the suggester means is, the symbol on the prestige hub title can be used along with other hub titles as well

Those symbols adds an important value on each titles. Adding it on unprestiged title will just make the prestiged titles not special anymore in my opinion.

but what if you don’t want the prestige icon next to the hub title
You would just unlock the titles seperately (default one, prestige I version, prestige II version, …) and you could choose which one you want to wear from the unlocked ones. 
Also thanks for bumping as prestiging currently feels more punishing than rewarding. Between prestiging and grinding for level 100 again you do not unlock anything unique anymore and this small change would give players a good reason to prestige and grind again.
