Hi there! I would love to see the Sonic Event return. Go get SEGA and tell them to do the event again.

They won’t bring back the Sonic Event because it was a LTE (limited time event, key word here is “limited”) celebrating Sonic’s 30th Anniversary. Also, events like that cost lots of money, so even if they got perms to doing this again, it would be hard for them to maintain without money help from Minecraft and SEGA.

You don’t understand that this would be thousands of dollars (I think) and hive doesn’t have that money to spare right now.

probably not, unfortunately. the sonic event was for 25 years and I believe sega temporarily made the copyright more lenient or something so companies could do stuff with it, so unless mario has a big anniversary coming up, I doubt anything would happen, especially something that gives a microsoft company more publicity. and as smiley and ducky said, MONEY. hive is working on the huge project of bedwars and doesnt have much cash to spare.
