I agree, this would be pretty helpful, but teammates usually does not even open the e-chest

if you party, you could each have one row, but if your solo queuing squads or duos, it would be like the sharing gen problem

Definetely because if you’re playing squads in a trio (they should add trios), a random gen hogging and gen stealing teammate could steal your stuff. It is so annoying as most random teammates are so bad.

I disagree with this partially cos sometimes i get teammates which are sort of decent and helped my team win

The hogging of generators though i can agree, maybe there could be 4 generators per team in squads so that theres one for each player

While this would undoubtedly be useful, I think the strategy of having to either hold on to your items or put them in the chest adds an interesting element.

If you hold on to them, you might die and lose everything, but that is at least partially dependent on your skill. If you put them in the chest, you could lose them to your teammates, but the enemy wouldn’t have them.

It’s an interesting gamble that adds to the gameplay. You either have to trust yourself or trust your teammates.
