Idea:
Introduce a system that tracks overflow XP after reaching a level cap in all games, so that any XP earned beyond the cap isn’t lost and can be applied if the level cap is raised in the future.
More information:
As of my knowledge, hitting max level means that all further XP gains are effectively wasted, which can feel unrewarding for dedicated players. By adding an overflow XP tracker, the server could continue counting XP in the background even after the cap is reached. Then, if the level cap increases later on, players would instantly gain the appropriate number of levels based on the XP they had already earned. This system would make progression feel more continuous, give players a reason to keep grinding, and show respect for their time and effort. A small UI element to display this overflow XP would also help keep players engaged and aware of their continued progress.
What’s the point of even having a cap if this suggestion were added. You might as well just make it unlimited.

I would assume this would only go into effect if there were more levels planned, and wouldn’t change the level you have above the current max until more are added (ex. I hit level 75 in BedWars and get 100 more xp, then they add level 100, and I would already have 100 extra xp).
While this would be cool there’s a cap for a reason. Having no further xp gain is kinda cool and just to see the xp bar all the way full is also cool. Instead just gain wins and focus on the leaderboard.

Sorry dude, it’s a good suggestion, but it really would kinda trash the leveling system (excluding any possible cosmetics or hub titles).
Nice pfp tho @Dream61534 Cult of the Lamb is fun
I’m assuming this suggestion is for games without prestige. Hive may not have cosmetics ready for anymore levels, but letting exp overflow ensures that anymore exp isn’t wasted. Players who play games only to max them will have an incentive to keep playing since if it gets a levels update, it will be less of a grind. I have a feeling games like gravity and blockdrop would have a higher playercount from grinders if this was implemented.
I doubt that there would be higher player counts seeing as most of players in gravity games are not maxed in the first place. And the maxed players are just there for fun at this point. There is no point in having any lvl cap if this is true, all the heavy grinders will instantly be lvl 100 each time there’s a new lvl update. If they added this they might as well just make all of the games go to level 100. A lot of people enjoy maxing, as it’s a cool achievement to have. I am maxed in gravity and I still play just for fun. It’s satisfying seeing the xp bar completely full.
