Option to submit costume ideas/models, maps and concepts

Idea:

From long time ago, I like building maps for minigames. And for the reason I am usually too generous, I wanted to submit a map for The Hive, but I can’t, because I had to be in Team Nectar. But my idea is to add a new subforum for costume submissions, map submissions and coding submissions, but the creator will e-mail Hive and send the map as .mcworld/.schematic only if Hive Team liked the map. Same for the 4D skins/costumes - if Hive likes them enough, the creator will e-mail Hive and send the costume file, the hub title look and the avatar look.
Note: Every player must include a poll wich contains which map should be added!

Survival Games Solos/Duos
  • Builder name/s: [The gamertags of the builders]
  • Map name: [the name of the map]
  • Screenshots: [Screenshots from the chests place, more interesting builds and some big screenshots of the map overall]
  • More information: [more info, credit and description]
Murder Mystery

Same as Survival Games

Treasure Wars Solos/Duos/Trios/Squads/Mega/Preview

Same as Murder Mystery and Survival Games, but must build enough space for PvP and addition screenshots of every island and overall from the top

SkyWars Solos/Duos/Trios/Squads

Same as Treasure Wars, but enough space needed for ores, chests and enderchests.

Sky Royale

Same as Sky Wars, but the builder must build not too big islands and make a concept like Jungle map

Hide And Seek

The builder must include in the submission the recommended blocks for the map and the map must have multiple hiding spots

DeathRun

It will be easier for the player to build the running place and traps first, then the all other aethetics and decoration.

Plus submitting maps can increase your chance of successful application for Team Nectar.

Good suggestion, but Build team and 3d artists are actual jobs for which you’ll be paid for. You have to be at least 16 (in the UK) or 18 elsewhere if you want to apply for those. Even if we like your map or costume it wouldn’t be fair to accept it for free. As of now, we don’t accept community-made maps/skins or costumes.

I understand, but I think this is a good suggestion for people, who have a wish to help Hive with more maps and skins, however, I don’t think there will be that much map submissions, but yeah. Let’s give some chance to the generous community to build something for The Hive! :beedance:

As much as we’d love to use community-submitted maps and content, it’s sadly not something that we’re considering at this time.

This mostly comes down to legal reasons, but as @ItsWoozieE correctly stated, we already have dedicated teams of builders and artists to create our content.
