I think theres a limit for how much cache featured servers can require you to download, as they would’ve done texture pack stuff a long time ago.

this is still useful, since hive occasionally makes you download packs for custom sounds, items etc this can definitely be implemented. As a person who pvps a bit, i myself sometimes use the wrong boom box and dies
