New Rule: No Skin steal

Many legit clients have Skin Stealer which we can steal skin easily. However people who makes skin on their own for 4 hours, they feel kind of bad. Why won’t just Hive add the rules that Skin Stealing is Prohibited? Of course! All legit clients will block it on Hive.

It’s not only me, one of my friend who makes his official skin and when someone steals it, he feels bad. (Why won’t he feel bad? That’s ofc a 128x128 Skin.)
Creators be like - “Just Stop it!”

So I request this to Hive Teams to add “No Skin Stealing” in rules.

it doesn’t matter
no skin can be that important
plus what do you care if you have the same skin as someone else, you can still use it

There’s no way they can add or even control this

IMO if somebody steals your skin it’s a complement. Also they don’t legit have your skin, its just in that server.

You are joking right?

Skins in Minecraft aren’t private, and as a server we have no way of knowing who originally made or owns a specific skin—or if multiple players are using the same one.

It’s possible for players to change their skin using certain tools or methods, but from our side, it just looks like they’ve changed their skin normally. Because of that, we’re not able to tell if someone is copying a skin or prevent it from happening.

We get that it can be annoying, but wearing the same skin as someone else doesn’t break any rules. If the player is doing anything else that seems inappropriate, you can always report them in-game using the /report command.
