I’m not trying to be negative, but man, where did you find the similarity between these minigames!?? The only thing in common is a bow? Which doesn’t even shoot arrows.

My idea is more similar to “Deathmatch” from CS 2, and even then, only in that everyone shoots at each other in both modes.

This is ground wars bro

Bro, tell me, what similarities are there between these games?
I repeat, I was inspired by the mode from CS GO and CS 2 - Deathmatch

Because you are shooting at the other team in a 5v5 match, It is Groundwars with a shop and new bows.

Besides 5v5, there’s also FFA, I don’t get it, are those the only similarities you found? Do you need to be reminded that in Ground Wars the main goal is to expand territory by killing? And even the fact that the main weapon in Ground Wars is the EGG doesn’t bother you? Maybe I didn’t explain it well enough, but in 5v5, all players spawn in random places on a map that will resemble the MM map in size and essence. These games are completely different, but if you don’t like 5v5, you can join the free-for-all mode.

I just don’t understand why a game where the main goal is to kill with bows between teams is automatically an obvious parody of Ground Wars.

Because killing with bows is the point of groundwars.

I don’t understand you, are you serious right now?? Let’s delete Skywars and other mini-games where there is a bow that you can kill with. The weirdest comparison.

It’ not because there is a bow in it. It’s that the MAIN POINT is to kill useing bows.

Most likely, it is not the onion, but the eggs that are the main weapon

Onion? What?

What is not clear to you? In ground wars, the main weapons are eggs, not onions, in ground wars you can build, collect improvements, killings take place for one hit, the map is flat, the meaning of ground wars consists in the seizure of the territory, everything, our dispute ends, the ground war is not a drop does not look like a shooting battle

Differences:
Has walled maps
Can go through enemy territory
Has useless shops since it’s probably killing them instantly
FFA version as well

Similarities
5v5 (essentially the same)
Bows
Insta kills

So I think they have their similarities, but they are pretty different. Also, I don’t know if this is a translation bug, but an Onion is a food :sob: :skull:

Also a suggestion, make crossbows do 2x damage and not 3x since they can be pre-charged, or make them 1x and bows 2x so the shop actually serves a purpose :sob:

Uhh @RomaxGame5663. I think you have a translation issue. Do you mean arrows?

Thanks for your feedback! I want to point out that the similarities between the games are truly minimal.

Regarding the shop – it requires improvement to increase its popularity, but I don’t consider it useless. The shop is necessary for spending earned money on upgrades and character progression. It’s like in MM: there are also coins for civilians there, although there’s nowhere to spend them, but this doesn’t bother anyone except me.

The shop idea can be perfected, and your suggestion for its improvement is very interesting.

Regarding instant kills: in my game, the damage from bows and crossbows will be increased so that kills will be possible in 3-4 shots, instead of 10. This will add meaning to armor upgrades in the shop and the need to kill many to improve weapons.

Overall, the games are very different:

In the first game, you need to capture an empty 100x100 block arena with a team, using instant kills with bows that, for some reason, shoot eggs. There’s the ability to build with blocks, spawn in one place, and collect bonuses across the map. There’s no weapon upgrade system, shop, currency, or weapon selection.

In the second game, the players’ task is to kill and earn points on maps similar to those from the MM mini-game, within a certain time. You can run around the entire map, spawn in random places, earn coins for kills, buy upgrades in the shop (armor and ammunition scattered around the map), upgrade weapons with the souls of slain players, and choose weapons.

Besides bows and crossbows, you could add some similar weapons, but that’s already an additional interesting idea. In short, we’ve figured out that these games are completely different.

By the way, regarding “Bows”: thank you for the clarification. I’m Russian, and in my language, “Onion” (food) and “Bows” (weapon) sound the same. Unfortunately, the translator didn’t do a good job adapting this word.

Yes, I have problems with the translation, I meant Bow (Weapon), not Onion (Vegetable), in my language they are translated and pronounced the same way “Luk - ЛуĐș”
I said everything correctly about arrows, bows do not shoot arrows, but eggs, which is strange

But yeah, as others stated, this seems to be like groundwars.

they should make a game like fortnite tbh lol

There was something similar, but the hive was removed.
