New map Murder Mystery

New map for Murder Mystery

:milky_way: Map Name: ECLIPSE Space Station

:round_pushpin: Setting:

A derelict space station orbiting an unknown planet. The atmosphere is a blend of high-tech sci-fi and eerie mystery—flickering emergency lights, malfunctioning gravity, and shadowy corridors hiding secrets and danger.

:world_map: Main Areas:

  1. Command Center – The central hub with holographic tables, blinking control panels, and windows looking out into space.

  2. Bio-Chemical Greenhouse – A glowing alien garden, perfect for hiding or ambushes.

  3. Science Labs – Sealed-off rooms filled with research equipment and sterile chambers.

  4. Zero-Gravity Tunnels – Transparent tubes where players float, making movement and combat trickier.

  5. Escape Hangar – A semi-open area with an emergency shuttle and lots of hiding spots.

  6. Crew Quarters – Small capsule-style rooms with lockers for players to hide in.

  7. Maintenance Shafts – Dark, narrow tunnels that connect different parts of the station—accessible only through hidden entries.

:puzzle_piece: Unique Mechanics:

Gravity Switches: Players can toggle gravity in specific areas, enabling low gravity jumps or slow fall.

Code-Locked Doors: Some rooms can only be accessed by finding randomly hidden access codes.

Decompression Alarm: Every 1–2 minutes, a random area is sealed off. Anyone left inside dies unless they escape in time.

Surveillance Terminal: When activated by an innocent, it briefly reveals the killer’s last known location on a screen for 3 seconds.

:artist_palette: Visual Style:

Red and blue flashing emergency lights.

Dark, metallic textures with signs of decay—broken glass, leaking pipes, hanging wires.

Floating items in some rooms to simulate zero gravity (using invisible barriers and commands).

Glitched monitors and broken transmission screens for immersive sci-fi vibes.

:video_game: Gameplay Style:

Medium to large map (ideal for 12–15 players).

Fast-paced action with tense moments due to dynamic environmental hazards.

Great for stealthy movement, exploration, and strategic plays—for both innocents and the murderer.

I love the idea of low gravity and Among-Us like takes in a MM map! But the idea of rooms that kill you doesn’t really fit in with how to game is played. But there is the river on Castle Town that eliminates you so it could work.

Overall amazing idea. Voted!

I love the idea of a murderer being able to kill everyone in one portion of the map to curtail camping, not sure about any of the rest of that stuff. Seems too similar to among us and way too busy, maps should have at most 1-2 things that make them stand out, not 7. Not voted.

Btw, is there still Castle Town map? I just returned to playing, and I didn’t see it in lot of games
