The premise would be something similar to Murder Mystery and Hide and Seek mixing with The Predator Movies.
For Example:
9 people per game; 8 hunters, 1 predator.
Game settings must include:
-no nametags
-Timer for the hunt (Maybe 5-10 minute matches?). All other indicators, such as how many people are still alive, time left, etc. are still there.
-Hunters killed can still spectate, but they are transported to the Predator’s ship in the sky and can only see down below (maybe add a skull on the ship for each player killed that the dead Hunters can see?). No Creative mode spectating here! This will also help The Predator stay somewhat hidden from dead players with team chat on.
-environment is destructible, so blocks can be destroyed, mostly by the Predator, in order to change up gameplay on a fly! Hunters can do it too, abeit a little slower due to not having advanced weapons like the Predator has.
-items from dead hunters do not drop, to ensure the Predator doesn’t accidentally gets armor or additional weapons to use. What the other Hunters collect or the Predator is equipped is all they get!
For the Roles in the Game:
Hunters:
-Hunters have Camouflaged Armor (Armor Values can be decent to help with their health), start off no weapons (but can be purchased in map) and higher durability or health (from armor is fine). Weapons they can get are nothing compared to the Predator’s Weapons, but is better than nothing in a pinch. (Swords, Bows, Crossbows, Crossbow with Multishot Enchantment, TNT Blocks with Flint, etc. More Basic, but random, the better!)
The Predator:
-The Predator is the only one with an invisible skin (Weapons it carries can still be seen by the hunters when equipped and its shadow is always on), higher jump ability, no fall damage, and they already have advanced weapons to start. The weapons it can use are sci-fi-ish, such as an three round capacity plasma cannon (damage can one hit kill hunters and area destruction is similar to an TNT block exploding), unlimited use blade weapon (sword), three round snare gun that can trap and stun players to walls (similar to webs), etc. Only issue is that the adv. weapons it carries has limited ammo, but is devasting to the Hunters. So the Predator needs to use them wisely and not miss. The sword damage can be standard to the Hunters, but more challenging for those players wanting to stab Hunters up close. Also, The Predator has NO ARMOR! So standard Health for the Predator while the Hunters have higher hitpoints due to wearing armor (makes it more fair for them as they don’t have invisibility to help them).
Example of the Game:
-Players go into a lobby, where they get to vote on what Biome they want to go to. (Jungle, Desert, Snow, Forest, City, etc.)
-When the game loads in, the 8 Hunters have Camouflaged Armor on that helps them blend into the arena of their choosing (Snow Biome, they wear white Armor; Jungle, Leaf Armor; desert, sand armor; City, Gray Concrete Armor; etc.). They can run around collecting coins needed to buy weapons that are spread out throughout the map. Once they feel they have the right weapons they can start hunting for the Predator.
The Predator is chosen at random (just like Murder Mystery) to hide amongst the Biome and kill off the Hunters. While the game timer is counting down, they get to watch from upon high (Space Ship or something with a glass floor, (similar to Hide and Seek start); The Predator can watch where everyone is at before they are placed at a random high advantage point in the map. This same “Ship” is also used later for the Hunters that are killed. Once the Predator is placed on the map, they can either stand and watch, move around (the shadow below their feet can still give them away) or start mercilessly killing off all the hunters.
Game ends when either the hunters successfully kill the Predator, the hunters survive the round without everyone dying, or the Predator gets all of their trophies (kills all hunters before time is up). Game can also end if the Predator or the hunters die from dangers in the Biomes (in the city Biome, all the hunters fall off the buildings and die from fall damage; in a Volcano Biome, the Predator falls into a Lava pit and burns to death, etc).
Ideas to make it more challenging for the Predator:
-At the last two minute mark(or 1 min mark if game time is 5 minutes) before match ends, the Predators “Active Camouflage” starts to malfunction, changing the Predators skin back to the Players regular skin, still no armor. Dead giveaway to the Hunters as the Predator is now seen with no armor. All its weapons are still active, though, so Hunters still need to be careful!
-Weapons for the Predator are unlocked as the match goes on (i.e. sword first, one minute later, snare gun given; two minutes after that, Plasma Cannon given, etc). This will give additional time to the Hunters to prepare while the Predator stalks them…
-Occasionally, the Predator makes a sound at its location (not sure if that can be done), like a growl or roar or something. Could also be linked to a points system as well so the Player playing the Predator could get additional points while they are stalking their prey on the Biome by activating it themselves, maybe. No visuals given (like hide and seek), as that would make it too easy for the Hunters to locate them, but maybe giving a sound that a Hunter is right next to hears might make them panic and start hitting everything, possibly hitting the Predator at random during the panic… something like that.
-Hunters can purchase random traps that are set throughout the Biomes (Jungle, a spike trap; City, a proximity car bomb; Swamp, a Quicksand Trap to contain the Predator until they can jump out; Forest, a tripwire that activates an explosive; etc.). The Predator cannot see if the Traps are active or not, only the Hunters can. So the Predator can take a risk and run by a trap that may or may not be active. If the Hunters still run into the active trap… well, the traps will go off on them instead…

After reading some of the rules, I understand guns are not allowed. but maybe a work around can be achieved for this game?
