Hive should add a Free for all (FFA) Gamemode

I strongly feel like a free for all (FFA) game mode would be really well in hive as it’s been done in other servers such as Cubecraft and is one of the most favored games on there, and would be the most enjoyable to play on a day to day.

I read through the older posts and this is NOT a repost, all the others have been about something slightly different and / or archived :

Though I have played Hive on and off for years now I’ve seen them add lots of new things and features including custom servers which I agree is pretty nice , but I’ve been waiting too long for an FFA game mode, which is why when I found it on cubecraft I started shifting away, though with the horrible overall lag and management of that server I think an FFA game mode would be really well suited for a smooth running server like The Hive.

What is FFA?

Well, although some other posts in the past few years on here have complicated it, all it really is is the idea to have a map where players simply choose a kit, spawn in, and kill each other for XP and k/d status and possibly a leaderboard position . This sounds plain but it’s actually gathered a lot of support from thousands of players in other servers and though I’m not suggesting an exact blueprint of what should be done as the developers would know more about that than I do, I feel like something similar to how Cubecraft currently has their game mode would be quite effective and very enjoyable. Player vs Player without something abstract like survival games or skywars , (my current favorite Hive game) or the other games would be something new to a majority of the Hive community and, like other popular featured servers, the FFA game mode would quickly gather support from lots of players and would become a classic.

That’s really it for this idea I have, and I can’t select a voting poll option here so if you guys could reply as to what you think about it I’d love to see that, thank you!

TLDR; Cubecraft ffa in Hive

that would be copying, which Hive doesn’t want.

ffa’s will prolly be in Arcade, i don’t know if they’re involve pvp though.

there’s no point in Hive adding something CC has, because everyone already goes to CC to play that mode, and there’s not much new hive can add it the mode, so its a waste of time and money anyways

Not exactly copying, i’m not saying to implement everything identical word for word letter for letter but the general idea of it, and it’s not something exclusive to CC, i’ve seen many servers with the same concept. Plus, if you wanna talk about copying then pretty much half of all featured servers have “copied” each other (bedwars - lifeboat, treasure wars - HIVE, eggwars - CC, skywars (literally every server) , murder mystery (most servers), survival games (also pretty much in every server).

pretty irrelevant that other servers have copied something.

hive has copied treasure wars, sure, but it’s very different to bedwars, egg wars, whatever.

i don’t see any way to make Arena different, or new.

there’s loads of ways to make it different, diff maps, diff kits, diff rewards, and whatever the developers see fit

I mean, how can they copy a PvP game? “PvP” and “FFA” are things that literally every server have.
