Hello! I actually think this a really sweet and cool idea! I think it would be great for users to get a message saying “you received a hug from ___” it would be really sweet. I don’t really see very many concerns with this besides there might be more jokes going around with who’s getting hugged by who. Which could almost lead into a mild discriminatory conversation, but otherwise I think this is a really cool idea, and would love to see it be added some day!

Obviously it’s not hard to implement but you could technically say that to most of the suggestions. All the commands in-game are related to the server in any way. A hug command would just be pointless as Hive is a minigames server, not an edating server as Conhadda just said.

you shouldn’t have the option to send a “hug” to a specific person, cus that’d result in what Con (and earlier, what Goat) said.
plus partners and staff would get spammed.
you type it, and it sends the message to a random person.

Why can’t it just be toggle-able
When it’s added or something you have the option to toggle it off
So it searches the lobby/hub for someone who doesn’t have it toggled off
And sends it to them
Imo that’s a simple fix to the whole creepy/e-dater thing some have brought up
I wouldn’t have a problem with this being added if the toggle-able aspect was added and a cooldown of like a minute or so
