New boundaries during warm-up!

Hello! As a frequent Skywars player, I would like to suggest two options for solving the problem with the visibility of the border at the beginning of the game.

The first option is to provide the ability to turn off the visibility of the barrier before the start of the game.

The second option, in my opinion, is better: update the appearance of the border and reduce its size. This will allow players to freely see each other and their cosmetic items, which are currently not visible because of the barrier. After all, what’s the point of cosmetics if no one notices them?

Below I have provided a concept of the border created in vanilla Minecraft. (Of course, it does not look nice) But on the server, I think you can create a glowing and modern border using a resource pack and add-ons.

thank you for your attention!

IMO, cosmetics are useless even if people see them. They really don’t look that impressive. There is no reason why Hive should add this feature; the point of skywars isn’t checking out each other’s cosmetics. If you think that people don’t see them and they are pointless because of it, then don’t buy them. Even if you do buy them, you will still see them and that’s the main point for me. This suggestion is completely unnecessary.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think you can change the border with texture packs. I make custom texture packs in Java edition, and I know there’s an image you can change. I’m not 100% sure this is in Bedrock, but if it is just change that.

The warmup border is there for like 15 seconds, and is there so you don’t get immediately rushed and so you can gear up. No-one is looking at other people’s flags or spawn vehicles during that time

Plus, if you want people to see your cosmetics, play duos or squads

My advice is NOT TO DISABLE the Border, I suggest updating its appearance, and as for cosmetics, well, if we reason as you do, then the server does not need cosmetics at all? Cosmetics can characterize the status of the player, there is nothing wrong with that. After all, you want to buy cosmetics so that players can see and it does not matter in what mode. And what you said about resource packs, well, 90% of the server players do not know how to do this.

And during the ten second countdown? It is during the countdown that you see the players and do nothing, my suggestion is to Refresh the border and not turn it off.

TBH it think it’s fine RN

Yeah, it characterises the financial status of the player, and their flamboyant spending.

Just google it or watch YouTube videos. Or just download a texture.
