Emeralds are called “enchanted ore” not “netherite ore” so it doesnt make sense for them to drop netherite.

Absolutely not.
There’s a reason why skywars is so enjoyable and different to bedwars. Because it’s much more fast paced. If you add the respawn ability, it would be literally bedwars. You could suggest something like it in the bedwars category for a LTM tho. It would be pretty fun.
Netherite would be so op. As I said, skywars is a fast paced game. If they add netherite… it would just be a recipe for disaster. People also play the hive because of the kb. If they added netherite with the kb resistance, people would literally stop playing the game. It would also be so overpowered as you would be basically unkillable. You cant be knocked into the void and you cant be damaged.
Dropping from emerald ore is way to overpowered. It would encourage camping and mining instead of the fast paced gameplay. If it was in something. Like the mystery chest, it would be better but still. NO NETHERITE.
