/mute command

So recently I played a lot of Hive and as my MM lvl grew many people made it to their mission to make me have a bad day. I get about 2 really inappropriate bullying msgs every day. So I suggest the command /mute to mute certain players (so you can’t see msgs from them). You could also use /unmute player to unmute people.

I would like to hear your thoughts.

Umm juat go into chat and press the cog and press mute all chat

that mutes all chat so you cant see in game messages

You can mute people in minecraft, This is not needed just do it in MC.

I Prestiged today so hopefully the bad people go away… I hope they think I’m lvl 6 and not 106 so they can bully others.
This would lead to me not getting spammed on with inappropriate stuff but the others are still as affected so we need this cuz I don’t know how to mute people in Minecraft settings.

whaaaaa
i’ve been playing for years and i’m still level 38 :sob:

i love this idea! makes me wonder… ive never seen another person chat in the 6 years i’ve played MM.
i wonder if my chat is muted

I have a really long loginstreak and Hive+ which makes grinding easier for u on lvl 33 you could lvl up in 1 hour if ur dedicated enough. In the later lvls with Hive+ and streak takes about 3,5 hours without that prob 7 hours for 82-100 anyways back on topic.
You can test if ur chat is muted by going to the hub if u see anyone msging in the hub you haven’t muted people or all chat if u see nothing for more then 5 mins u prob have chat muted.

If u like u can friend me and we can grind mm together sometime soon. But we would talk about that in private chat.

There’s not? Wheres the setting for just players?

Go to the pause menu, scroll to the player, click them, hit the 3 dots, mute or block them.

But that takes a lot of time to block everyone in the lobby, especisalalllsly when a lot of people keep leaving and joining

As this is already possible through Minecraft and Xbox Live, we don’t plan to implement our own command.

If you don’t wish to see a player’s chat messages, open the pause menu and locate them in the player list, you can then choose to mute them and their chat will no longer appear.
