in celebration for the upcoming mario movie, i think there should be a mario event where you can play mini games such as mario kart and unlock character like luigi, toad, princess peach, dk, bowser and ofc mario and as an end of event there could be a bowser bossfight just like the sonic live event.

This could be hard to do. Nintendo is very strict and I don’t think hive could get a license for it.
The Mario movie is coming out in less than a month, so I highly doubt they would even have time to do anything. Unfortunately this just doesn’t seem do-able.
Even though the movie is coming out soon, I don’t think Hive will be able to do this at all due to license and copyright issues.
Getting rights to characters isn’t something you can just… do.
Sega with the sonic event likely reached out to massivehard (
) and they picked hive to host an event.
sry all im just excited for the movie but i do agree about the copyright and nintendo isnt exactly the easiet to just talk to
I Honestly would love to see this, but as said above, unfortunatly Nintendo is EXTREMELY Strict with their characters and properties. If this was coordinated around the time the first teaser trailer for the movie released, this could of happened, but for now, all we can do now is hope for another awesome event sometime soon…
