Map Variations in Hide and Seek inspired by the Backrooms Map
Instead of having maps that’s the same all the time, why not have them rotate around by random and change? It’s a similar concept to the backrooms, but having map variations in HNS can benefit since it gives more of a challenge.
More details:
Having these can make Hide and Seek more replayable since you don’t totally know all maps 100%. It doesn’t have to be a lot. I’m thinking 3 or 2 variations per map if not more. This also allows secrets to be put into the game since… well… it is Hide and Seek after all.
This was a thing in Java in like 2015, but I think they broke it in the 1.8 update and never fixed it. This didn’t prevent seekers from memorizing all the variations of a map and winning in under 2 minutes on some maps. I think this would make the current map design style very horrible to seek considering how many hundred or so couches there are with a single block missing. It might work for smaller maps like Pripyat, but a map like Town Square or Chime would become even harder to win as seeker than it already is
