My Idea is to cover the HIVE sign in light blocks so it glows.
This would just add more attention to the sign and make it looks nicer
What are light blocks?, you may ask.
Well light blocks are blocks that give off light while being completely invisible and have no hitbox (Can only be gotten with commands)
In the picture below, it shows you what they look like in an item frame and placed down
[Item form on Diomond Block, It placed down on gold block (When it is in an item frame, it doesn’t give off any light]
Another thing to consider is you can get light blocks that give off less light if the HIVE doesn’t wasn’t the sign to be that bright.
Remember that they have no hitbox (you could walk strait through them) so people that are tp’d to the sign don’t stand on invisible blocks.
Let me know if you have any questions or comments

It would be good but I don’t think why it’s needed.

I am going to edit it and clarify that in the post
Edit: did it
The hive sign already have a light source in it
Tho if you want to make it brighter, then you can

What the HIVE did there is hide actual light blocks (like sea lanterns under carpet) to have it shine a bit.
My idea is to put it in spots where they couldn’t hide sea lanterns very well. This would make it shine brighter and have the light be more constant has there is some dark spots.
I do understand what you are saying though

I think light blocks are in 1.17 and Hive supports earlier versions, but I can see alternative methods to lighting up the sign so you have my vote
Hey that only applies to java it has been in bedrock quite a while only added to 1.17 for java.
