Establish ranges like 1-25 and 26-50 to avoid playing against much more experienced players (level 50’s in parties or 50’s in general) when you may have only played around 10 games.
I realize this might make finding a match take longer, but at least you won’t lose in 5 minutes and you have a chance to win.
Welcome to the forums!
I do understand this and agree with it somewhat. However, I do feel like it would eliminate the challenge. Perhaps it would be better if it was a toggle? It doesn’t happen often, but it is quite satisfying to defeat someone on a much higher level. (For instance, I was a low level in BW and knocked a high level into the void and ended the game. It felt very satisfying though it only ever happened once lol.) But I did play CTF the other day and there was a lot of sweaty players… could barely get a hit in :’>
@coffeeweevil407 i get that it would be nice to kill a higher level due to them being a challenge, but when there is a level 50 in the match they usally win(due to having more pvp and game mode expirience) this reduces the xp i get in the match due to me not being able to get kills on them and when you get spawn killed its just a real waste of your time.
Yes, I do agree with that, which is why I suggest turning it into a toggle— giving you the option to turn on or off the certain criteria for matches like that, if you wanted more of a challenge, or to play with players at a similar level! Sweaty players in pvp can be quite difficult lol, it only reminded me more the other day why I don’t play CTF or many other pvp modes. :> But I suppose I should probably practice and get better at them!
There’s not enough players constantly playing to ranks.
That is true. I could see it being added for BW, which has about 14k players usually, but CTF only averages about 300 from what I’ve seen :’>
Yeah it would be good BW but any other mode probably not.
I think this isn’t a good idea for a few reasons.
The first thing is that level doesn’t equal skill, it isn’t ever going down like a rank in some pvp games. Most of high levels are people who just know the game but are still not good at it.
And the second thing is that this would create very long wait periods before the game starts for people with higher levels.
Me myself - I’m lvl 90+ in bedwars and it might look scary when you join a lobby, but there are hundreds active players who are waaaay better than me and many of them are with way lower levels.
So for those reasons I’m out
Welcome to the forums! But what if you want a challenge and fight a level 50
What then would be the meaning of statistics?
yeah, uh, no. here’s my reasons why:
• this will take WAY too long for level 26+ players to find games because there isn’t many players that are above level 26.
•I’ve seen level 18 CTF players who are as good as the average maxed
•this would cause backlash in the sweat community.
•alt accounts exist
•causual level 26+ players could face parties every single time they want to play
I was gonna vote for this but then I remembered I’m like lvl 39
i voted this because i have had negative experiences in ctf where people have hit me from over 5 blocks away and its impossible to get a hit on some players even when i have 12ms ping capture the flag has a closet cheater problem too. thats why ive been stuck at level 8 for ages
a wise man once said
See? And you can always report cheaters
Even Hive’s biggest game, Bedwars, isn’t big enough for any form of skill-based matchmaking. Please stop suggesting it. As one who has maxed many games, and is high level in both Bedwars and Skywars, it would actually be impossible to queue.
This might personally kinda kill the game for me
