What is the bug?
Mailbot had the new-notification-icon for the message about the newsletter which I already read a while ago.
Prior to that I did not spawn in my home region (home region is EU) when joining via the geo.-IP and after manually switching to EU, mailbot had the notification. It did not have the notification when I first joined Hive and spawned in the remote region (usually NA when that happens).
Not sure whether the region switching actually had something to do with that but thought it might be useful…
