So we all know the Hive just released loginstreak savers where if you have a loginstreak of 100+ days, you can have up to a week of not logging in to keep your streak. I understand that this is because of power outages and other things that may be out of your control from logging in. But I personally think a week is waay to long. I think the time should be shortened to 3 days max instead of a week because once you get to 100, its extremely easy to keep going. I think a week also makes loginstreak-based rewards too easy to get and takes the rarity away. Besides, its called a loginstreak, not a weeklystreak. Let me know what you guys think ![]()
Well don’t u need to get 700 days of login streak to get a week’s worth ?
Edit but I do kinda agree with u it makes it a pretty good bit easier on turn making it less rare
So basically how it works, (to my understanding), is that if you miss a day, it saves your streak for a week. Once you rejoin, your streak is no longer safe and if you miss another day during that week, it will use another saver. Basically, you can be offline for a week and your streak would still be safe.
As someone who had their internet cut for more than 3 days and lost their 110 day loginstreak, I don’t agree with this.
No every 100 days, you can have up to one week where you dont have to login
Two three-day savers would be better than a one week saver, in my opinion. A seven-day saver will have so much wasted time on it, two three-day savers will still be wasted some, but not as badly.
Oh Yeah that is a bit broken
yeah a week does seem kind of broken, though in the case of like a hurricane for instance, if the damage is sufficient enough, areas can be without power for days or even weeks. From personal experience, When Hurricane Ike’s remnants hit my hometown, even though I live really far inland, the storm was still powerful enough to where we lost power for around 3 days. We were the lucky ones, as some people up our same street lost power for over a WEEK.
So in the case that the worst happens, it makes sense. maybe have a way to have options to describe why you’re using a saver, or why you didn’t in the case you’re offline for more than a week.
I don’t know, just throwing an idea out there.
@Pro_Gamer77946, it may sound a bit confusing and has caused some confusion on this thread, but one login saver allows you to have one week without being online while only using one saver. You cannot, however, have more than one instance where you do not appear online for more than one day without using two login savers. If you feel confused, the link to the login saver update is displayed below for you to refer to clarify how the feature works.

Moving on to the idea to have a maximum of 3 login streaks, I feel it is a good length as there are so many justifiable reasons why someone may not be on for a week, and even with that weeklong gap you still have to be on for atleast 50 days without using a saver anyway, so you still show dedication to the game nonetheless. Having that barrier for safety when reaching a sentimentally high number on your login streak is warranted, and anyway, you can only use one login saver for a single instance, so it’s not it’s going to be a rare occurance.
I can see where this idea came from though!

Hello again ![]()
@xHqmmerhead was right in saying that one login streak saver will save up to 7 days. I have confirmed with Hive Staff that this is true:
I think that the wording used on the Support site does cause confusion, and I have looked into getting it changed.
However do know that one login streak saver will in fact save your streak for up to 7 days, and have a great day ![]()
yea bro all im saying is a week seems way to broken
