Limited hat rarity

This might be a dupe but I searched already so I’m sure this isn’t.

Okay, so for those hats that could only be obtained during events should be put into a “Limited” rarity, instead of Rare, Uncommon, or Epic.

This would make much more sense since those kinds of hats are more rare/valuable than the Epic hats.

For example:

Considering that there are only 4 rarities, one more wouldn’t hurt.

Hat rarity isn’t based on it’s actual rarity, it’s based on how hard it is to get it.

Addind a “Limited” rarity would not only remove that theme, it also wouldn’t make sense as once hats are gone they aren’t exactly “Limited” anymore.

Also this is a very small change, you won’t see hat rarities while playing on the server so it isn’t really worth it.

what it was ALSO limited and also you forgot the crown

I only don’t have 6 of the unobtainable hats (block friday hats (2022), winterfest hats (2022) and Lunar New Year Hat(2023))

Okay, thanks for the information! But getting limited hats or cosmetics are usually pretty difficult to obtain based on the way you obtain it. Ex: Hunt, Quest, Max Levels.

Hats are still limited when they are unobtainable. It’s just signifying that it was limited, making it even more rare.

There are lots of small updates that do get noticed/recognized. Ex: Quest Costumes, Custom Server Updates.

Tbh, i just want the gifter hat image to appear. It’s been bugging me for ages

I thought it was based on how expensive it was. Originally, I assumed the rarity was based on how many varients and if the hat had an animation. But how do you define “how hard it is to get”? Buying a hat isnt that hard but they all have different rarities

I agree with AyaanThe0nee, if hats were based on how hard they were to get, most of them would be uncommon.

Also, AyaanThe0nee, why do you want me to add The Gifter?

Money isn’t exactly easy to get (well it isn’t for me) and i think my point still stands, the more it costs, the harder it is to get.

That makes sense, but I think what me and AyaanThe0nee are trying to say is that the process of buying it isn’t hard, not the earning money. You and me both brother, I wasted all of mine on the Endolotl plush lol

also @AyaanThe0nee and @Blockbyblock98 the hats bun put in the topic are just examples, it’s not a list of all the unobtainable hats
