Let players keep their login streaks when they get banned

I think that letting players maintain their login streak when they get banned would be a nice idea for anyone who gets banned. i came up with the idea because i was trying to get the time owl costume, but ultimately got banned. i was 10 days in, so not really a big deal, but i have a friend who got banned with a 150+ day login streak. he spent half a year trying to get the time owl costume just for it to be ruined by a simple 3 day ban. Im not saying they should be able to log on to get it, im js saying there could be a message on their ban screen saying “If you log back on daily, you will maintain your login streak”. i just think it’s unfair to lose your login streak due to this and think this would be a way to fix it

for anyone saying it’s only a good idea if they appeal and get unbanned and such,
ive a ton of friends who got banned and had perfect proof that they didnt do something wrong but didnt get unbanned, some with 800 day login streaks. it innfuriates me to see how much dedication can be lost from a falseban

I agree if your miss intentionally banned and you don’t appeal you big loginstreak can be gone - maybe if it’s a not valid ban and you get appealed your loginstreak gets saved but if your banned and it’s valid you lose the streak unless of savers

maybe. the problem with that is that some of my friends got false banned appealed but their appeal got declined. one of which lost a 2 year login

should depend on why they got banned, if it’s a false ban makes sense but if someone’s using cheats or breaking the rules that’s on them

A ban is supposed to be a punishment. Sometimes losing your logintstreak will be a secondary punishment. Now, for false bans I am in full support of this. But for legit bans I heavily disagree with this.

that completely ruins the point of being banned. if it was a false ban, then appeal, they usually respond within a couple hours.

If you are banned for breaking our rules, losing your login streak is part of the punishment. If you don’t wish to lose your login streak, you should follow the rules.

We will of course restore login streaks for those who appeal and have their appeal accepted.
