Less waiting in SB

Making a game have less down time has its benefits. One of the biggest is lessening burn out from the game, with less waiting around and more playing. This makes the game becoming permanent more likely as more people will be playing.

There is a lot of waiting in SB if you’ve played for like 2 hours and memorized 90% of the builds. Here are some recommendations to speed it up and make the game more enjoyable and replayable.

  1. End building time when the 2nd to last player achieves a perfect build instead of every player. Everybody knows who lost based on who got a perfect build last, so the suspense of who got eliminated would actually be suspenseful. This should include the final 1v1 boss builds as well to further cut down on waiting time.

  2. Combine the “scanning builds” and the “calculating the results…” animation sequences. The amount of time adds up. I recommend removing the “scanning builds” text and have the “calculating the results…” start with a sped up version of the animation of scanning builds, and then have the red elimination outline go around for 3 seconds
