To read more about the issue check out may bug report from 2 days ago and the replay ID is PraisingStick7751. You have to slow down the replay to see the leap disappearing and me not getting the boost. If you need more info I can provide more replay IDs but in this replay you can see how the glitch is caused

Thanks for submitting a bug report.
In the replay you have provided, it appears that you waited too long to use the leap when you were falling off.
On the server’s side, you hit the death region before you used your leap; you’ll need to be a bit quicker to use it.
