Killing someone gives you their coins

If you kill someone as Murd in MM you get 10% of their coins

This could also work as if you punch the grave you get 10% of the coins so the Murd must claim the coins too, or if he forgets somebody else can punch the grave to get the coins.

How do you claim the coins?

Choose
  • Murd gets coins when he kills them
  • Punching the grave gives the coins

How many coins?

  • 10% of the coins
  • 20% of the coins
  • 50% of the coins

it gives one coin instead, rounded up to nearest whole number

I, actually like this idea mostly. It would be neat to give coins to the murderer when they kill, it would also be slightly more rewarding to murderers.

I think the vote options are somewhat redundent however. This vote would hold more weight if the yield of coins was higher than 10%; 50% Coin yield or higher from killing a player would constitute a need to click the grave for considerable delay.

10% Coin yield will most often only give the murderer 1 coin out of what most players having roughly 10 coins. There is also above average players who maybe killed later who may have 30 or 50 coins even, but they are also only dropping 3 or 5 coins.

A counterargument could be that players could drop 6–10+ coins in a regular game, but then both time becomes the enemy but also the natural progression of innocents obtaining their bows.

There is also a question I have regarding obtaining the coins from the player, but would the murderer obtain the sum of the players coins or the current net amount they have left after spending on powerups?

Overall I like this idea as it helps the murderer but not in a way that innocents can’t handle it either, as the game goes longer you could get more coins, but then you are weighing the risk in along with the reward.

Good Idea!

It would be rounded

I said 10% becuase I didnt want to effect the game too much. it could be Like 20% tho.

I dont know about ur last question, to make a real impact it could be from what they collected but i could make a poll

I feel like that should be the innocent’s special power that would be interesting

This would be very cool, and it would make it better in my opinion if any player can click on a grave.

Ceiling it then!

Idk what you mean

Yknow the upside down L and backards upside down L that you put around a formula or equation or number that makes it round up

Oh yeah sorry im rly tired
(But i always am)

Sorry but why would you be able to get their coins. Every murderer would wait till everyone has 40 coins in the last minute of the game. This would enable so many issues: camping, hacking, cheated Xp, etc…

Hacking? how? Anyway maybe camping but you can only get the coins once per grave

Maybe but that feels too op

Taking coins from somebody’s grave should be the innocent’s ability cuz they can usually do nothing

waiting for people to get bows is gunna be bad no matter the coin mechanics

all in all, this suggestion is very cool. One of the problems with interactables is that the murderer has to spend time chasing and killing people and can’t usually spend time to collect coins instead, while innocents only have to get coins and survive. This would help balance that to make the game less innocent-favored in that specific regard.

However, I don’t think 100% of the coins is fair. I could accept 10% rounded up (someone with 1-10 coins would give the murderer 1 coin, 11-20 would give 2 coins, etc etc) to help keep the murderer from getting an insane amount of coins very fast.

Hacking with an attack aura hack. The same reason that there’s an energy bar in HnS, so that hiders cant blow every seeker in range down. They could use attack aura on the graves and get to oneshot bow very quickly.

This suggestion is still favored by me, especially with the idea that it could be the Innocent’s special ability. Voted.
