Spleef is a game where everyone can shovel each other with snow layers and you can throw snowballs at players. Blockdrop is pretty much a dead game and also a random name, so Spleef would have more action to it something more of a PvP game or free for all and its exciting for players not only that but it’s an easy gamemode to learn!

Hey, welcome to the forums! The problem with this is that Hive already has quite a few pvp game modes, and most gamemodes the Hive has appear quite unique to it, and make it special. I believe Spleef is quite a common gamemode, and it wouldn’t bring many players if they can find it in many other servers. Also, Block drop’s name is exactly what it sounds like lol, you make blocks drop.

They should keep Blockdrop and add Spleef. While the title may be provocative, I agree they should a Spleef gamemode. Spleef isn’t as common as you think, and of the few gamemodes of Spleef that do exist, they’re very basic 1 dimensional versions of it. Pixel Paradise and Mineville had a very fun engaging unique version of Spleef. And for the time that they had Spleef it made sense for Hive to not have one of their own. But since Pixel Paradise got shutdown, and the pvp mini games got removed from Mineville (including Spleef), there’s a void for a unique interesting Spleef game mode accessible on a Featured Bedrock Server. Now would be the time to add Spleef to the Hive. They have the potential to make the greatest version of it any of us have ever seen!

That is true! I do know some players who quite enjoy Blockdrop and would be sad if it was removed. I don’t keep up with many other servers, so I assumed Spleef was still a pretty popular gamemode. But that would be an interesting addition to the hive, especially if hive added a unique twist to it!

Hive did used to hive spleef back in the day, (in the arcade) but it was a 1v1 and you got no snowballs AND the map was tiny.

Spleef would add a different change of pace, but I don’t think it should be an entire individual game mode, I think if it were to be implemented it should be as a winter ltm to provide a refreshing change for block drop, could also get more players too

I will vote for this, requesting that block drop stays and this gets added as an alternative to normal block drop. (Something you can access through the block drop NPC.)

I agree but what about SG, CTF, skywars, bridge, build battle and Bedwars there all very common in other servers

Would be a fun LTM, but block drop already has no players, and its more fun than spleef

Heres a thing I get that spleef is common in java but in here on bedrock not as common as you think but I do love spleef and whats making me play Minecraft most of the time. Plus this would be a best time for the hive to add spleef and make this a pretty fun LTM. It can also be for Spleef solos and Spleef duos to be more fun and very similar to SG. You can have a colored leather chestplate representing your team and also have free for all as maximum of 16 players for a game. Spleef would make a fit to the hive as the other gamemodes!
