(Skip to third section if you want to hear me explain the post, as the first 2 are just saying things that have already been said.)
Even though Just Build is one of Hive’s most popular games, as you all know it has a MAJOR problem with Inappropriate builders and for duos, griefers.
The best way right now to deal with these players is to report them- but there are 2 reasons this isn’t great.
1. There are usually 1000+ players on JB, yet less then 20 mods. Thats not even including the other games.
2. The damage has already been done- the build has already happened.
My suggestion is that we make Hive’s punishments for JB’s players alot stricter.
Any inappropriate build (not like a little thing inappropriate, clearly able to be deemed highly inappropriate) would result in a permanent ban from the minigame and a 3 day ban from the server.
Any inappropriate build that is smaller and sort of hidden would result in a 2 week ban from Just Build and a 1 day ban from the server.
Any off-topic build would result in a week ban from Just Build and a 6 hour ban from the server.
There would be one-time warnings plastered everywhere, from when you join the actual server, to when you join Just Build, in your mail, and a regular warning for about 2 weeks of the update in JB chat.
This punishment system would not last forever, maybe something like 5 months. This punishment system would be implemented yet again if problems arise.
This may also prevent and scare people into not doing inappropriate builds if they either see their friends get banned for it, or just the warnings alone.
