Normally I’m all about Hide and Seek, but I don’t really think it’s necessary to give seekers an item for a speed boost, because that’s where skill comes in. You need to be able to predict where a hider will go, and take shortcuts, and you will never loose an hider. That comes with time and practice, not a speed boost.

try playing with high latency and try predicting anything

It is call hide and seek not chase them down and kill them 1 shot it shoud be i like this idea

It’s also not called run around the map for 5 minutes.

i’m very confused as to how high latency affects predictions with chasing, some of the best chasers (DMN, zxea, etc) have high ping due to playing on NA from australia. They say it effects hitreg.

If you’re having trouble predicting, just don’t predict: cut ur corners, hug walls, and hit ur jumps. You’ll catch up to 95% of runners that way.

Running tends to be the only way for a hider to survive to the end vs even half-decent players, seeking is just that easy. Leaderboard grinders seek in parties for fast and free wins. Don’t try to nerf the anti-meta strats, thats how you kill a game faster. Not voted.

so you’re confused how sometimes the server does not register you’re moving and everything stops for a second or two and chases are mega hard at times because of that? great that people from australia can handle that their network route is probably much better to reach the servers than it is for other people including me

I had to play on mobile, on a hotspot, for 6 months. I know the meaning of lag. But it was never hard to kill hiders, even when I froze. I think you just need to practice.

why are you so opposed to having more tools to use, why are you so against a positive change that makes the game better especially for people playing from far away having 300+ ms

I’m not against positive change, I just don’t think that an item that gives speed boost to seekers is necessary.
