The Backrooms map has become one of the most voted maps since its release, and often has over 10 votes. This is because of the map’s secrets and lore that connect to the arg. My suggestion is to add more cool lore secrets/puzzles to other maps in the future. They would not be on the same scale as this one, they don’t all need a website and an entire arg, but if there were more cool puzzles to unlock lore then I would love that.
If the lore connected between maps and leaked into the hub and micro hubs to make the Hive lore, that would be even better. Perhaps it could connect to the wither rose lore from CTF. I recall a rose having significance in the Backrooms arg.
This is suggesting something completely different. Maybe read at least the title of the post before calling it a dupe lol
That post is not only locked, but also talks about adding a reward to the secret code. I am talking about adding more secrets all over the place, and not any rewards.
I personally believe they should do this with deathrun maps instead. It will give deathrun a lot more maps, because of the variants. If you don’t know, deathrun maps are huge and take a lot of time to make. But! Editing areas of a map to have different paths and variants would be so much faster than building a completely new map. Plus there’s already a map with a different, unused path in metropolis. It’s near the end at the emerald jump pad that you go left on, but if you go right(in replay with noclip) through the wall on the death area, there is a whole new path. Having maps with broken traps that drop down into new areas, UFOs sucking players to new regions, broken bridges, floods, tree branches blocking the regular path, there’s just so much they can do.
This would be cool, and you’re right, they are pretty big, but due to the fast-paced nature of Death Run, you wouldn’t really have time to stop and look at it. I am now realizing that is true for almost every gamemode.
