Many players don’t know about the discord server and I’m sure would want to know about the discord server. When you go to the pause menu in the bottom right there should be a discord link button that brings you to the discord. Also, (I’m not sure if this is possible) when a player presses on that link it should auto link their discord with the Minecraft account. It’s very annoying on phone to link MC to Discord as you have to keep switching between apps and Minecraft always close when you leave the app so it can be very frustrating. Lastly, there should be an FAQ button in the pause menu that answers simple questions or just a link to Hive Forums FAQ for new players and just for simple questions like why someones chat isn’t working and why they cant join their friend/how to join other regions.
Hello
Good suggestion you have there but however a advertisement pops up in the chat every once in a while which advertises the Discord Server so I don’t think this will be implemented in the pause menu (Personally I’m not sure if this is even possible to add this to the menu).
For the FAQ suggestion, players are able to do /links where there will be a link to our support site which answers most of the common questions.
For account linking, it does sound interesting to have automated account linking. Personally I’m not so sure if this is possible on Bedrock, but on Java I believe this is a feature but currently isn’t working properly.
It isn’t that hard to link your account on mobile, you just need to remember the code and dm it to the bot (I believe the code is only six characters long, but you can also write it down on a piece of paper if you’re bad at remembering)
Or copy and paste it like a normal person?
Yeah that’d work, I don’t think it’s possible on mobile though
Really?
I thought you just hold down on the text then hit select all and copy
Yeah it doesn’t work like that for the text in the chat in-game
Oh in game
My bad sorry
I know it’s possible with UI Modification on a regular Minecraft world so it’s definitely possible on the server.
