First one would be to choose what you hide as after being in the map. As in when it puts all the hiders in the map you choose then and if you don’t choose in time one is chosen randomly for you.
Second suggestions is that hiders are forced to emote when it’s ready so that the game isn’t impossible for the seekers
If you miss choosing your block, I would argue to say that having a random block is a fair punishment There are only 5 or 6 blocs for each map (apart from pripyat) and u have 10 secs to decide (plenty of time). Forcing players to emote would not be a great addition as well. Like most games, the more you play them, the better you get, same goes for hns. The more you play each map, the more you know what the map looks like, so if a block isnt meant to be there, you would know that its a hider.
That’s an interesting idea. It would be nice for the hiders to get to run around the map a little before just to see what block is best suited for the map. This feels fairer to the newer players, as only higher level players would be familiar with the map and/or the best block to hide with
Not sure how I feel about this one. I agree this would be easier for the seekers, but I don’t like the idea of a good hiding spot being given away by something that is out of your control (such as forced emoting)
i think both of these ideas aren’t great if i’m honest. the first idea can be solved if the map icons were fixed and the second is just straight up a bad suggestion. I don’t want some of my OP spots given away by a game mechanic i can’t control, as josh said. if you are having trouble with seeking, learn the maps.
Well you can always choose the lower point taunts which aren’t that revealing. If I was a hider I would want to be chased because it makes the game more fun than just being sat in one spot the entire game
I agree with complex if we did change anything it would be that some taunts are required. At the same time though I don’t agree because it’ll make the game very annoying.Majority rules in the hive and I think 90% will hate this idea
I agree with both of the suggestions somewhat, because once you’re maxed level you have no reason to taunt, so a forced taunt every like 1 minute and 30 seconds wouldn’t be too bad imo.
