I think a volunteer mod rank would be good
It’d have no title, (so cheaters dont dodge) but /nick and ban perms
Volunteer mod’s bans get checked by paid staff eventually
they just play the game and ban cheaters they see
if they’re active they can ban lots of hackers
With this rank I’d have banned 3 cheaters in the last 3 days and other more active players could get even more
There is one place where this feature would be very useful: Just Build Without exaggeration, there is almost always one obscene sculpture per game.
From my perspective, I think that is where this measure should be implemented primarily. And also in other games in general, but the problem is that they will tell you that it is not safe to give power to a volunteer.
That is why in Just Build it is more appropriate in my opinion, and thus we avoid confrontations.
We have no plans to re-introduce a voluntary moderation role. Our moderation team works 24 hours a day.
