Hunger Grace Period

During the grace period in sg, the hunger should be frozen (disabled) until the grace period lifts.

I don’t see the point of this, the only way hunger affects you during the grace period is if you fall under 3 hunger bars (so you can’t sprint) There’s no way you lose that much hunger that fast.
You also get food from almost every single chest, just the food from the cornucopia is enough to last you the first minute or so. What I mean to say is, you barely lose 2 - 3 hunger bars during the grace period, and food is extremely common. Even if you somehow have no food by the end of the grace period, you can always break leaves to get apples.
Weapons are rarer than food, so if you haven’t looted enough chests for food, its pretty likely that you don’t have a weapon either, either ways you will probably die.
