I had recently made a skin and ill post the layout but for some reason it keeps turning me into a yellow-shirted steve even though that not the skin I made.

It’s likely that you’re not using the template correctly and our skin filtering systems are therefore flagging it as unfair.
Could you post the skin file so we can take a look?

i dont see the problem is it the bottom part?

From what I can see, you’ve put most of the skin on the hat layer, so our filtering systems are flagging it for being too transparent/too small.
If you follow this template and avoid using the hat layer, you should be fine
