There are no mascot games in hive, so why not add a game called honey wars!
Honey wars will be a 9 vs 9 game were you can be a bee or a wasp. The goal in this game is to take all the honey from the enemies hive.
There are 3 classes in each team workers. Workers can fight but they are weak. They can pick up honey they also have a speed boost. Soldiers can fight and steal enemy honey like worker. Then the queen there can only be 1 on each team the queen can give types of commands, if the queen dies the team canât respawn. If a queen leaves the game then there will be a new queen depending on the kills and honey. There will also be weapons like honey shot itâs like a fire ball but honeycomb, poison shot itâs a bow but stinger that deals poison, aphid boost a edible item that would allow you to gain speed and 3 extra health, and finally spider egg thats worth 129 pollen once spawned the spider will fight for your side with a boss bar it wonât steal honey. You can get these from pollen and the buzzing merchant and in order to get pollen is flowers around the map that spawns pollen if a enemy dies you can steal there pollen. To avoid further confusion when fighting the enemy team all wasps will have there name tag coated in black and bees will be coated yellow.
There would also be hubtitles like:
Queen Bee=Get 50 wins.
The veteran soldier=Get 100 kills.
The surviving raider=Win during sudden death.
Right hand bee=Collect 3000 pollen in one game.
A soldier with no leader=Win without a queen.
General buzzer=Get 10 kills as a worker.
Insane wasp=kill queen by yourself.
There will be a sudden death weâre ants will attack both teams Queens. Leave your ideas in comments.
I think this is a pretty good idea. Iâd suggest giving the queen a massive buff, like maybe double health, in case your queen is terrible at pvp/escaping. Also, the fact that itâs 21v21 could be a problem. (see âold man rants about the lobby wait timesâ)
old man rants about the lobby wait times
The main downside to this is the fact that itâs 21 vs 21, which is a really lot of players. The lobby wait times would be relatively long anyway, and if it had the unpopularity of, say Block Drop, which usually has around 150-200 players at a time, the games would have to be incredibly short to combat these wait times.
This is a very interesting idea, and also sounds like, if done right, could be very fun as well, so definitely gonna vote.
However, I see two issues with how players would most likely react. One of them being, when being a worker, they will most likely leave due to not being able to fight and also with it sounding quite uneventful, except for running away from the soldiers. The second thing is that if the queen leaves, would a random player replace them since the queen left and didnât technically die? Basically, the balancing of when a player leaves (because they will, be it internet goes out or other reasons) needs to be worked on and figured out.
Also would the classes be randomly assigned? Maybe like a murder mystery system with the sheriff and murderer percentage, or like deathrun and hide and seek where it is completely random depending on the amount of players?
Sounds incredibly fun though, and not something I have seen or heard before either so also original as well
I really like the idea of this game. Personally, I believe that it could contain these:
The maximum level could be, for example 75 (like Hide and seek). Also, the new unlocked things (you can find them in totem of undying) should be related with bees and wasps (maybe and ants, sometimes).
The avatars should show bees, wasps and/or ants (for example: a worker bee, a queen bee, a beehive, a bee in a flower, a bee fighting with a wasp with swords (bigger levels), etc).
About the hub titles, many of them would be yellow or yellow-black.
Ideas: BEE ready for the battle, Queen of the beehive, Worker bee, Yellow and Black, Beeâs poison, Bicolor-battle, Ant-man, etc.
I voted for this idea and I wait to be added on Hive.
