We have not made any changes to combat mechanics or knockback for a long time, and most certainly not within the last couple of weeks.
The issues you are experiencing are more than likely down to you experiencing higher latency. There are many reasons that you could be experiencing this, but they are unfortunately all entirely out of our control.
