I know this isn’t much of a suggestion, but Hive, PLEASE UPDATE MURDER MYSTERY. It has been months since you announced this. Months. And we still get 0 update on even a release date. I know this post won’t do anything as it will get buried underneath all of the other posts; however, I just wanted to speak on behalf of – I’m sure – a lot of people. It has just been sitting on the roadmap for a while, saying “Coming next” when all of the sudden something else decides to be prioritized that no one asked for. I understand this with a big update like Bedwars Season 4, but adding something like “All Access Pass” just for a money grab bewilders me to be frank. Just give a release date at the bare minimum. Murder Mystery is quite literally one of your best games and it would only ameliorate your server. If you have been given this amount of time, I really don’t see why you don’t just release it, and if there are glitches you can add small updates like you do with Bedwars. I think today on 1/23/2026 the Murder Mystery suggestion has reached over 4000 votes. 4000. It says it is to be released early 2026, but we still have nothing. Now, I get it is still a bit early in the year but I feel like we should have SOMETHING to give us just a glimmer of hope. I’m sorry if this came out as harsh, but I am honestly growing impatient, so I wanted to ramble about this. Thank you.
I can compare MM to the middle child. But yeah its been a year and the fact that there is no specific release date is disappointing. Stop focusing only on bw

I don’t think it’s fair to assume that simply because Hive focuses on what works, that means they have forgotten about everything else. Let them work on what they’re working on in their own time, without constant complaints from the community.

Okay patience is key. They said in discord when I asked in December early 2026 it’ll update MOST LIKELY (if they are finalized with the update) so soon. It takes awhile for them to actually update it because there’s a lot that’s going into the updates so you can’t just think they need to immediately be ready with an update. They also might be busy dealing with their personal lives too so many might not be working because of things going on irl! Yes it can be annoying but they have reasons for why things aren’t happening yet. 
also keep in mind building and creating let’s say a murder mystery hub will take a lot of time. Maybe months! Also making models for mm games and programming will also take up a lot of time so it might take even a year. Especially they have to test before updating because if not the whole server might be just on threads haha(like glitches, ways to pass borders places for a reason in specifi Areas,etc).
They have a whole team. We got hints for the update in october and in december. Also since they are making a mini hub for MM we got a similar update to Just Build and that update was a while ago. Many players expected for the update to come out when the JB update was rolled out. If they were burnt-out, why are they able to release updates for other games like bedwars but too lazy for murder mystery. Atp it is plain laziness.
Is it just me or did Hive lose 2-4 staff members??? In 7 days it will officially be a year.. THIS UPDATE BETTER BE HUGE 
Yes, it’s been a while, yes, they intended on getting this to us earlier, and yes, they’ve been updating other games in the meantime. However, what is being angry gonna do? What are we accomplishing by yelling at the admins to hurry up and stop “being lazy”? I am frustrated and disappointed too, I am not gonna lie. But, why should they give us an update if all we do is yell at them? They have no right to. I don’t see anything constructive in this post except arguing and complaining. I’m not saying you can’t, freedom of speech and opinions is important!
But put yourself in their shoes for a moment, they are working hard to get a (hopefully) really big update out, and when they look to us, the forumers, for ideas and inspiration, they don’t see appreciation for the game, or “let’s go hive!” They see a community who has no patience and are whining like children 
Let’s just enjoy our silly little game and consider ourselves blessed that a small team of people are putting in the work to shine light on the centerpoint of our community, no matter how long or refining it takes!
I have closed this topic as I can see it becoming a catalyst for arguments on the platform. We have already confirmed that the Murder Mystery update is coming, and suggesting content that is already planned will not speed up its release process. The update will be released when it is ready.
