Hello! This is going to be a post that the people make! Feel free to add anything you want for this years Hive-o-ween! I’ll start it:

Hunting for a Scare… crow?

Locals have seen their beautiful scarecrow being ripped apart by some… thing. The locals are so sad! Thank god we have to guts to find the parts! The idea is that we need to find different parts of a scarecrow, and when we find them all, we get the Scarecrow Costume. There will be 7 pieces:

  • Leg #1
  • Leg #2
  • Arm #1
  • Arm #2
  • Torso
  • Head (just to reassure, its a pumpkin head)
  • And of course their hat!

If you collect one, it gets magically teleported and attached to the scary scarecrow! (Thank you @Thomas4725 for that idea)
The location of the scarecrow will be somewhere with a corn field, so keep your eyes peeled!
Thanks to @VestedCarp91073 ‘s idea - which I edited a little bit - you can hear crows chirping when you are near a scarecrow piece, so you should also keep your ears open as well!

Find the treats!

Lots of candy has been found around the area… and lucky for us, candy is currency! You can now find candy and give it to Mailbot for awesome rewards, like an XP booster, QP, a new cosmetic item, and maybe even some avatars and hubtitles! Feel free to say what they should be. You can find these candies on the ground, near houses, and maybe even hidden in areas you might haven’t seen…

New Cosmetic!

There will be a brand new cosmetic that you can see in this link:

Anyways, with the brand new candy currency, you can also buy a brand new toy:
Candy Cane Squeaky Toy!
Basically, it’ll be a little Rubber Candy Cane that when you tap (or right click) it makes a little squeaky sound like the Death Sound from Gravity.

New Back Bling!

With the new edition of back blings, I think we should have a limited time Halloween one. Here are some ideas for it:

  • Pumpkin
  • Witch Pot
  • Skeleton Skull

Feel free to comment your ideas!

And… that’s it so far. Feel free to say and suggest anything you want and I’ll keep it in mind.

Seems like a good idea. Could also add a scarecrow flag in Capture The Flag or a scarecrow themed goal in the bridge. Another idea is that as you find more parts of the scarecrow, you can see the in-progress scarecrow so you can see your progress. Also, the more parts you find, the less birds appear around it or the more parts you find, the more ravens/crows appear around it. Just a few ideas of mine. Will upvote.

Hive probably won’t take this into consideration, they’ll just end up making their own event.

I also think that hive should be working on more permanent updates, then limited time updates.

Why don’t we just hunt for cauldron or something like that? It would be weird to hunt for parts of a scarecrow, that would fit more for a zombie.

how about a trick-or-treating system?
Im thinking you could buy ‘candy’ in the qp shop and they function like gifts, where you can drop them or give them directly to another player! they could have random stuff like qp, small xp boosters, etc, so a bit of a gamble for what you get

Why not have to carry the parts all the way to the scarecrow, instead of just clicking and it magically is transported through inter-dimensional space-time to the scarecrow?

Do you all remember the sonic event store? That was one of the coolest parts of the sonic event other than the new game which might have been the most fun game on the hive imo lol anyways that could be the Halloween store where you could buy things related to the event. OH also the Halloween event in 2022 might have been my favorite Halloween event (the one where you find the keys/gems to open the big door then go down the cave to claim the costume and qp) so maybe they should do something similar to that. Here’s an example: the player is tasked with finding the scarecrow parts to give to a person who lost it. once they form it, they receive a key and are now able to go in a cave where the costume is

Actualy, 2021 was the best, because that was when the rune hunt was introduced first :smiley:

I think it would be better if you had to bring the parts to the scarecrow. Also, I don’t like scavenger hunts all that much, they’re not particularly fun. It would probably be better if you had to do some form of challenge to find each of the parts. for example, you could have to chase down the headless horseman for a limb (sort of like the 2020 Christmas hunt). what I’m saying is anything but a scavenger hunt.

Also why is this for 2025? It’s not even been Halloween 2024 yet.

I love the Halloween events lol
