So instead of always asking "what server do you play / region, i think a good idea would be to add self roles and like what region you play on and whats your main game you play all the time for eg. Dream54198 is eu and plays treasure wars

I think it would maybe be a good idea to be able to see others regions BUT there would be problems like

  1. what happens if someone doesn’t like the region they play from the featured servers so they add like another region in “additional servers” which region would appear in their user?

  2. Is if Hive adds this I don’t think they will make people choose their region in like “self role” I think they would automatically connect the region you play in to your user.

  3. If Hive does that it would be easier for stream snipers to snipe because they would be able to see the streamer region the just go in it and snipe and that’s not what we want!

  4. the region idea is great I think the only thing I wouldn’t do is the main game role because it wouldn’t be useful I think.

Last of all this is a great suggestion if it’s chosen there’s for sure gonna be modifications and there would need to have solutions to the problems I listed but I think if that’s all fixed it would be great! You have my vote !!

It’s more than possible to do this since our accounts are synced via XBOX/Minecraft/Hive accounts.

If this has already been mentioned I apologise. This is not a bad suggestion although there may be a problem with the reporting channel on discord.

Hive needs to ask what region you’re in if you’re reporting a player because some players switch region to play with friends or for a better ping, etc. Roles to be used as a replacement for that would cause issues as you could fill in a full report under the role “EU” but the game you were playing at the time may have been in NA.
