Hi All!
Have you ever seen a hacker in game dominating the map and doesn’t get banned?Then you must vote this idea to ban hackers with just commands!

Idea :
Banning hackers commands in chat

More Info :
It would be cool if you were able to ban hackers in the chat just by typing (example) /ban (hacker’s name).But before banning the hacker please ensure that he/she is a real hacker.

this is not reporting but it is direct banning

Did you consider the fact that people may false ban just to troll? No server would allow just anybody to ban players.

you will just need to observe carefully weather he/she is a hacker before banning

I think you have too much faith in people :sweat_smile:

I’m sure mods and admins already have the ability to ban people directly, but the hive can’t just allow everyone to be able to ban anybody. You can’t just trust the whole server with this type of power.

Hello there, and welcome to the forums! :partying_face: This isn’t really reasonable, as allowing anyone to ban anyone would result in hundreds or thousands of innocent players being banned by trolls or inexperienced players who may believe skilled players are cheating. This is just overall not feasible in any way. Also, in-game reporting will be coming soon! You will be able to report rule-breakers in chat with a command. You can view this and other upcoming features on the Hive’s public Trello roadmap here! :+1:

No since this would be abused, anticheat improvements and working on some sort of automatic system (not like this), are what the hive should work on next

I feel like players could abuse this power, like after losing a game to a legitimate player they would report that person, hacking or not, because of jealousy. A report system would be useful, however. This way moderators can observe which players are hacking or not.

this is the dumbest idea i’ve heard in a while. but before i get suspended for not being constructive, here i go

  • maybe they should have a rank, specifically to ban hackers and take care of players. this would be a great idea! except this is admins.
  • have you never been hackusated? oh im bad and i think someone is hacking and i ban them. is that not the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard? i dont wanna get false banned by some level 2 7 year old who is bad at minecraft
  • ppl are evil, man. do you not realize ur giving cheaters this power too?
