Have a separate timer that still awards win xp/win

I have been playing gravity a lot lately, and one of the things I have noticed is that it’s hard to get first when you are put against players whose maps render super fast. My game can take around 5 seconds to load each map, and this can make me get around 55 to 70 seconds each game, instead of below 45 which I would love.
My solution has been thought out: don’t award wins or win xp until all players have completed. This will give everyone a chance for their maps to render.
How does this fix the issue? Each player’s timer will be paused on each completion until they choose to go, or until they have been waiting for 10 seconds. The 90 second timer will be kept because even with map rendering that’s a lot of time.
Once a player jumps down their timer will start and they can complete the map as quickly as possible.
At the end of the round the player with the least time with all their time added up will win, and receive further win xp and a win.
Players that also complete in the first 3 can also receive a win too.
This solution is much more sensible than other solutions, like having each player wait 10 seconds to go on each round.

No, this would slow down gravity to much and make grinding bad.

How would this slow gravity? Each player can go when they choose. If your maps render fast you can go as soon as possible and still grind. You would still get a win and win xp for first three, this suggestion is that bonus win xp would be given to the fastest players once they started the maps, so it wouldn’t slow grinding at all, if anything it would reward more xp.

Gravity is my only maxed game. My strategy was earning 1-2 levels a day, this would make maxing it so tough. Each level took an hour. With waiting for everyone else to finish, this would make it take ages

I don’t like the idea as it would mean you would need to wait for everyone to win.

I think there’s a lot of confusion about that. You wouldn’t be “waiting for everyone else to finish” It would award xp to the top 3 and at the end of the game it would store the times of everyone (which it already does for the scoreboard at the end) and give those people xp as well.
So you can re-q once you finish, and then when the server ends the game you could get xp then.

Oh ok, that makes more sense

I love this idea. It would give a fair playing field which I can always get behind.
