I think the concept of guilds that Hypixel has would work so well with The Hive as-well. It would help to establish communities of players that play the same games as each other, and help build friendships with other players.
Adding some kind of XP leaderboard for guilds would be cool too as it would allow these different communities of players to compete against each other for the title of most prestigious guild. Guild vs Guild events could also be hosted by youtubers across the different game modes.
Welcome to the forums @cryeth! So this is party’s but competitive…idk about this. Hypixel has guilds, so is that you want? Would this be useful for scrims? I think party’s get the job done pretty well, and guilds might just be seen as copying hypixel. Don’t forget you can vote for your own post!
i mean scrims is a very small part of it but yeah it would help with that. i made alot of friends from the amount of guilds i joined on hypixel, its just a good way to meet people. and how is it competitve? if you want to join a guild to be competitive against other guilds you can , or you can join a guild that isnt competitve, or you can just not join a guild at all. why would it matter if its seen as copying hypixel? they already copied the pets and morphs idea (which isnt bad because those are good ideas)

There is already parties, and hypixel’s guilds is just a more in-depth version of parties, and it’s competitive cause there could be xp leaderboards. Most parties aren’t competitive anyways.
The reason it would matter that no other server does guilds, and the hive would have to add there own spin on it so it’s not copying Hypixel, all of there Hypixel related games have a twist Hypixel does not, so it’s original, but if they don’t change guilds, then it would be copying. Anyways, why guilds when parties?
bro parties and guilds are not even comparable their completely different. Hypixel has guilds AND parties bc they arent the same thing… if The Hive was able to make their own spinoffs of hypixel gamemodes why cant they do the same with guilds? just cause theres an xp leaderboard for the guilds doesnt mean the guild ur in has to compete for a spot on it.
But there’s no other perks mentioned for guilds. Its just parties with leaderboards, nothing else. There is parties to create a community, the only reason I see guilds being added is if there is more perks, like permenant party(not being disbanded by players logging off. Parties already get the job done. Also no other servers do guilds(or at least any big server) it’s hypixel exclusive.
their were plenty of big factions servers and id consider factions a form of guilds. i was just pointing out hypixels cause everyone knows what hypixel guilds are lol. Parties dont create communties, you have to already be part of a community to join a party, how else are u gonna get the party invite? different guilds i were in on hypixel had their own discord server with hundreds of people in them, THATS building a community, not partying together with one or two people you already know for an hour or two. and if you dont like guild leaderboards then you dont have to join a guild or u dont have to take it seriously when you do.
The thing is you have not mentioned any perks for being a part of a guild, just that it can build a community when there is discord and forums. Is there any perks that sets it apart from a party?
