Since it is not possible to make a cool reference like in the original when translating to Portuguese, I believe that the translation team chose to use the name of the Minecraft item itself, Diamond Chestplate, when translating, but they used the incorrect translation of Chestplate. The item name in Portuguese is ‘Peitoral de Diamante’.
