At the current moment, ghost color unlocks are on the very far end of the leveling spectrum, with all of them being unlocked between 80-100, which can be quite frustrating if you want to match skins with kits and you don’t have the color or something.
However, with the system already established , almost all of the ghost colors obtainable match up with a color of a leveling phase. So, why not use that to help diversify the cosmetics available to the player?
Instead of our current system I propose this (with the color being unlocked on the first level of the leveling phase):
(New colors will be bolded)
1-9: gray
10-19: gold
20-24: yellow
25-29: teal
30-49: pwurple
50-79: green
80-99: red
100: blue or chromatic
Simple idea, we already have half the colors in the game too! Came up with it when I was on a call with someone and they said, “the ghost color leveling was stupid ” (or smth like that I dont remember 100%)

I understand where you are coming from, however, if all of the possible cosmetics are gatekept do they really feel like a “big reward?” Surely, as someone who yet to reach level 75, would agree that having cosmetics available and at intervals would increase your play and encourage you to reach for the next cosmetic? I mean that’s how it is for basically every other cosmetic on the server, so why should ghost colors be this elusive product we never get until we are already over 60% done with xp collection? I agree with British here, by allowing for the ghost colors to be unlocked at more realistic intervals will allow for an increase, it may be slight, but an increase in users and reasons to play.
I’m making my way up, and every time I level up I’m excited to get closer. Also I don’t get how it would give people more of a reason to play. Won’t wanting to grind up to a higher level get players to keep playing?
I agree with this as I have always thought of it and I see where the contrary opinions are coming from but for competitive players, this really makes sense. You can obtain the second ghost color six times as you can prestige in this game, meaning you will have it for just a small amount of time everytime (I’m imagining you wouldn’t stop grinding .)
As for the fact that it can feel like a reward for leveling up, the other unlocks are much more visible and fulfilling as they can be used or seen more, compared to the ghost color. I also think it would be better if they could be obtained later on like after 50 – to prevent people from getting bored and get them to play more often.
Well in America, and how I’ve learned it my entire life, it’s gray, we have different spellings for different regions and dialects of English.
Also, the older unlocks wouldn’t be vaulted, the colors match up with the leveling system and its color theme, which is why not a lot are in bold. The only color that would have that chance would be Blue if they choose it for an alternate color, I don’t know why they would, but if that’s you’re favorite color or something then just grind for it?

Genuinely, as someone who wants to max the game mode (slowly but surely trust ) there is so much time where that completing touch to the outfit or kit or whatever if that ghost color and it’s just not there until over halfway through maxing the game mode which can be kinda annoying! I think you have a point with maybe not moving it ALL the way to the bottom of the leveling, but how the color scheme matches the leveling system perfectlyyy ahhh, I see where you are coming from though, edits could be made if it were to be implemented.
